In the Permian Basin, a convention for trading card games has been gaining traction. The West Texas Trading Card Game Convention has been active for just over a year and has seen significant growth.

The convention initially had a small number of vendors, with around 15-20 participating in its first event. However, it has since expanded to include close to 150 vendors.
