News articles aggregated from third-party sources retain the copyright of their original publishers. Attribution and source links are provided.

AI training & licensing: Use of our content for AI model training, retrieval-augmented generation, or any AI-powered product requires a paid license. See /ai.txt and /.well-known/crawler-pricing.json.

4. User-Submitted Content

If you submit a story tip, comment, newsletter signup, or any other information, you grant The Midland a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish your submission in connection with the Service.

5. Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently. We do not accept payment for favorable coverage.

6. Advertising

The Service does not currently display advertising or affiliate links. If that ever changes, it will be clearly labeled, disclosed at /ownership, and will not influence editorial content.
